Welcome to the Pinto Point Sewer District Website
Welcome to the Pinto Point Sewer District website! We hope that you find our website to be informative and helpful.
The primary goal of the Pinto Point Sewer District is the protection, health, safety and welfare of the public, members of the District and beautiful Priest Lake, Idaho’s “Crown Jewel”. It is the intent that the longevity of our sewer system be maintained, and that its maintenance expenses are kept to a minimum.
Our sewer district serves the 53 residences within the Pinto Point Subdivision located approximately midway along the eastern shore of Priest Lake within Bonner County in the panhandle of Idaho. The subdivision is located along the shoreline of Indian Creek Bay beginning at the Indian Creek outlet and extends west to include the residential lots along western shoreline of the Pinto Point peninsula.
The Pinto Point Sewer District was established in 1982 and is within the jurisdiction of the Panhandle Health District. Our District was formed because individual lots within our District could not meet the Health District’s minimum drain field lake setback requirements. We utilize a pressurized wastewater collection and treatment system. Waste is collected in individual residence septic tanks. Pumps at the septic tanks send effluent to a dosing tank and drain field located on a community service lot remote from the lake.
